Erik A. Kreutzer

Erik A. Kreutzer serves as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Head of Legal at ZCG since May 2021, where responsibilities include managing firmwide legal and compliance issues while collaborating with investment teams and portfolio company management. Prior to ZCG, Erik held the position of Director - Assistant General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Goodwin from October 2018 to May 2021, focusing on advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on various transactions. Earlier experience includes working as an M&A Associate at JONES DAY® from October 2015 to September 2018, specializing in domestic and cross-border M&A and corporate governance matters, generating transactional value exceeding $41 billion. Erik's legal career began with an internship in the Global Equities Legal Department at Deutsche Bank in the summer of 2013. Erik earned a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, with a Law & Business Certificate, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College.
