Zhiyi Li

Zhiyi Li has a diverse professional background, beginning with their role as an Associate Chemical Engineer at the Shanghai Jinshan PetrolChemical Design Institute in 1993. In 2006, they moved to the United States and began working as a Software Engineer (Co-Op/Intern) at IBM. In 2007, they became a Software Engineer (Data Analyst) at the University of Virginia. From 2018-2022, they were a Research Intern at SRI International and Virginia Tech- Oak Ridge National Lab Go Intern Program. Zhiyi also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at Virginia Tech from 2013-2018. Currently, Zhiyi Li is a Computer Vision Engineer at Zdaly, which they began in 2022.

Zhiyi Li began their educational career in 1995 at Tsinghua University, where they completed a Master Study in Chemistry. Zhiyi then attended Georgia State University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Master's degree in Computer Science and Chemistry. In 2004, they returned to Virginia Tech, where they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2007. Currently, they are a Ph.D. Candidate at Virginia Tech, studying Computer Science.
