Hubert G. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Hubert started their career at Shell Oil Company as a Senior Trader, specializing in naphtha, heavy fuel oil, and LPG. Hubert then worked as a Naphtha Trader at Total Oil Trading SA/Elf Trading/Elf Atochem. Hubert later joined Total/Elf Aquitaine/Elf Antar as a Crude Purchase and Risk Management Manager, where they implemented a Value at Risk policy and developed an econometric model for crude oil evaluation.

Following this, Hubert served as the Natural Gas Supply and Trading Manager at Rhodia Energy S.A.S and later as the Energy Purchasing Director at ERAMET, overseeing worldwide energy purchasing for the Group. Hubert also held the role of Partner at Transformations, where they provided consultancy services to the energy sector, specializing in CCGT projects, gas supply, marketing, distribution, and large end-user energy purchasing.

In 2007, Hubert joined SEFE Marketing & Trading Ltd as the Sales and Marketing Director for France, successfully growing the market share. Hubert later became the Head of Retail Strategy, responsible for company-wide retail strategy projects and providing strategic support to Gazprom's global commodity trading arm.

From 2017 to 2018, Hubert worked as a Partner and the Managing Director of France at Schwartz and Co, a strategy and management consulting firm focusing on the energy, transportation, and water sectors. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Asset Management and Optimization at ZE Energy, an independent renewable energy producer specializing in solar hybrid power plants with storage.

Throughout their career, Hubert has demonstrated expertise in strategy, management, negotiation, and business development within the energy industry.

Hubert G. completed their Master of Engineering - MEng in Ocean Engineering from CentraleSupélec between 1986 and 1988. Prior to that, they attended Lycée Louis le Grand in Paris, France from 1982 to 1985, where they studied Math Sup/Math Spé.
