Dr. Maria Lagana Suttmeier

Dr. Maria Lagana Suttmeier, EdD, is currently working as a Senior Associate at Zeal Education Group and as an Executive Coach at NYS Council of School Superintendents and The Sage Colleges - Russell Sage College. Dr. Maria has extensive experience in education, having served as the Superintendent of Schools at Hudson City School District and holding various leadership roles in education organizations. Dr. Suttmeier also has a background in curriculum and instruction, along with experience as an associate principal and educator in different roles. Dr. Maria holds a Doctor of Education degree from The Sage Colleges-Sage College of Albany and has certifications in educational leadership and administration.
