Andrey Mirkin, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the finance and technology sectors. Andrey is currently serving as the Chief Trading and Risk Officer at ZFX. Prior to their current role, they worked at UBS Investment Bank as an Equity Electronic Trading professional from November 2014 to June 2021. Before that, Andrey was employed at Deutsche Bank where they held the position of KDB+ Platform Owner and Quant Dev Lead from May 2010 to October 2014. Andrey initially started their career at Parallels as a Developer, working in that role from November 2004 to May 2010.
Andrey Mirkin, Ph.D. completed their education with a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in 2005. Andrey then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same institution between 2005 and 2008.
