Kent Hervey

Kent Hervey is a software engineer who has worked for Zeal IT Consultants since December of 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a sales engineer and developer for Nokia from December 2013 to December 2018. Before that, they were the manager of service agreement management and sales engineering/product management for Fujitsu Network Communications from February 2010 to December 2013. Kent also held the position of capture team services financial lead and business development/sales support for Fujitsu Network Communications from May 2009 to February 2010. Additionally, they were a product manager and product marketer for Fujitsu Network Communications from September 2002 to May 2009. Kent Hervey began their career with Fujitsu Network Communications in October of 1991 as a senior manager of sales engineering before being promoted to senior staff engineer in December of 1989. Kent then became the manager of documentation and technical publications in December of 1984. Kent was promoted to senior systems engineer in November of 1984 and senior sales engineer in September of 1990.

Kent Hervey has a long and varied educational career. Kent started out at Longview High School, before moving on to Coding Dojo for a semester course in programming fundamentals. Kent then attended Collin College for a degree in marketing, followed by UT Dallas for an MBA in marketing. Finally, they completed their education with a BSEE in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
