Ludovic Tranholm Otterbein

Ludovic Tranholm Otterbein is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of IT at Zealand Pharma since January 2023, Ludovic oversees IT operations and manages a team of professionals. Prior roles include Head of R&D IT at Zealand Pharma, Director of R&D IT Solutions at Lundbeck, and various positions in research informatics, compound management, and analytical chemistry. Additional notable experiences include serving on boards for Elsevier, Lundbeckfonden, and Lundbeck, as well as senior consulting roles at Valeocon and AstraZeneca. Ludovic holds a PhD in Biophysics from Boston Biomedical Research Institute and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from ESIL-GBMA, complementing a strong foundation in biological sciences from Université de Rouen.
