Mette Svendgaard

Mette Svendgaard has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in research, development, and pharmaceutical operations. Mette started their career as an Analytical Chemist at the Danish Institute for Food and Veterinary Research and later at the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. In these roles, they focused on the development and validation of new methods for analyzing various foods.

Mette then joined Astion Pharma A/S as a Research Scientist, where they further developed their skills in analytical development and validation. Mette also served as the Head of QC Lab during their tenure at Astion Pharma.

Mette then transitioned to Unilabs, where they worked as a Department Manager, overseeing a team of chemists and managing bioanalysis methods for FDA compliance.

Mette then joined Zealand Pharma, where they held various leadership positions. Mette started as the Head of Pharmaceutical Development, responsible for tasks such as formulation development and oversight of contracted work at CROs and CMOs.
