Thue Johansen

Thue Johansen is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President at Zealand Pharma since October 2020, where the role involves overseeing Medical Directors and Clinical Pharmacologists in clinical trial programs. Prior to this, Thue held multiple senior director positions at Novo Nordisk from 2008 to October 2020, focusing on Type 1 Diabetes, Functional Insulins, and digital health initiatives, along with leading medical project activities in global drug development. Thue began a career at Novo Nordisk A/S in various medical roles from 2003 to 2007, contributing to early-stage clinical development of insulin and other therapeutic areas. Thue holds a PhD in Drug Development/Pharmacology from Copenhagen University and an MD from the University of Copenhagen.
