Charles C. Morace has worked in the software engineering and computer science industry for over 10 years. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for Zealogics Inc. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer and Computer Science Instructor at Peanuts Programming, where they developed the open-source Python package pycat, implemented facial recognition and image processing projects with Numpy and OpenCV, and produced course websites with Python and Sphinx. From 2014 to 2013, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Computer Graphics Group at the Visual System Laboratory at National Cheng Kung University. From 2013 to 2009, they were the Founder and Software Developer for Method Software. Lastly, from 2009 to 2013, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the 3D Group for Interactive Visualization at the University of Rhode Island.
Charles C. Morace obtained a B.S. summa cum laude in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Rhode Island in 2012. Charles C. then earned an M.S. in Computer Science from National Cheng Kung University in 2015. Currently, they are a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at National Cheng Kung University and is expected to complete their degree in 2020. In 2014, they also obtained the TOCFL Level 3 Chinese Listening and Reading certification from the Steering Committee for the Test Of Proficiency-Huayu.
