Dr. Sara Könemann

Dr. Sara Könemann has extensive work experience in the field of strategy and organization. Dr. Sara currently works at zeb consulting as a Senior Manager in Strategy & Organization and leads the practice group "Business and Commercial Banking". In 2021, they held the position of Manager in Strategy & Organization at the same company. Prior to that, Dr. Könemann worked at UBS, where they held roles in Business Management & Projects and Strategy & Business Development from 2019 to 2021. Dr. Sara started their career at Volksbank Bielefeld-Gütersloh, where they worked as a Trainee in the Firmenkunden department and later as a Dual-Student with a focus on Firmenkunden.

Dr. Sara Könemann earned their Bachelor of Arts in Banking & Finance from Fachhochschule des Mittelstandes Bielefeld in 2014. Dr. Sara then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management in 2016. In the same year, Dr. Könemann completed a term abroad at ESSCA, Campus Shanghai, focusing on Economics and Business in China. Dr. Sara continued their studies at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and successfully obtained their Doctorate in Economics and Business Ethics in 2019, earning the degree of Dr. rer. oec.
