Maya Kaufman, PhD

Maya Kaufman, PhD, has a diverse work experience in research and academia. Maya started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2008 and held this position until 2012. Maya then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2014 to 2017. Maya continued their research career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Bar-Ilan University from 2017 to 2022. Maya's most recent role is a Research Engineer at Nanox AI, starting in March 2023.

Maya Kaufman, PhD, has a strong educational background in the field of neuroscience and biotechnology. In 2006, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Following this, they pursued their passion for neurobiology and obtained their PhD from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2013. Maya has also acquired additional certifications in Machine Learning with Python from Cognitive Class and in Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification from Coursera.
