Ivo Hemelraad

Ivo has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years. He has held key management and directorship roles working across multiple jurisdictions and servicing a global client base.

Throughout his career, Ivo has established and managed a multitude of offices. He has implemented various commercial strategies and has experience in company turn around, expansion and business acquisition.

Ivo started his career working for MeesPierson Trust and Private Banking company spanning the Corporate, Trust and Private Banking industry. He worked in offices based throughout The Netherlands, the Caribbean and Switzerland and held positions including Commercial Director and Managing Director of various European trust and private banking subsidiaries. Ivo was also a Member of the Global Management Board.

Ivo moved to Singapore as a Commercial Director for East Asia for the Amicorp Group, where he was responsible for the expansion of various offices in the continent including mainland China. He was likewise responsible for the set up of their Trustee and Fund Services business in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Ivo moved from Asia to to Europe in 2009 to take up the role of Managing Director for Vistra’s Luxembourg office. In 2013, he was appointed as Global Head of Fund Services for the same firm, and he was likewise a member of the Executive Committee for the Group as well as being a member of the Management Board. In 2013, Ivo moved back to Switzerland to head up the Vistra’s Zug and Zurich offices, overseeing key acquisitions and leading the firm’s LatAm strategy, before he joined ZEDRA Group in 2016.

Ivo studied Dutch Law at the University of Utrecht, obtaining his Master of Law in 1989.
