Manjinder Basi

Manjinder provides pensions manager and project management services.

Manjinder joined Inside Pensions (now part of ZEDRA) in April 2016 and provides pensions manager and project management services on a range of matters to a number of clients.

Manjinder qualified as a Pensions Lawyer with Reed Smith LLP in 2006, where she spent 10 years advising both employers and trustees on a broad range of pensions matters, drafting scheme documentation and advising on pensions aspects of corporate transactions.

During her time at Reed Smith, Manjinder was also a Trusteeship Officer for three independent trustee companies. This involved resolving and project managing complex pensions issues from a trustee’s perspective, together with working with the PPF on scheme wind ups.

This involves working closely with Trustee Boards on a number of strategic and governance issues, given the increasing regulatory burden on pension schemes. She is passionate about delivering a high quality, proactive service to clients.

Manjinder is Chair of the ZEDRA Inside Pensions Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

Manjinder is also a regular speaker at the Pensions Management Institute’s annual Secretary to Trustee Workshop.
