Ashish Sehgal

Ashish Sehgal currently serves as Director on the Board of the Indian Broadcasting & Digital Foundation since September 2024. As Chief Growth Officer for Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited since January 2006, Ashish has led advertisement sales revenue strategies across a network of approximately 47 channels, consistently achieving market-leading growth. Previous roles at Zee include Chief Operating Officer of ZEE Unimedia Ltd., where Ashish integrated sales teams and developed a comprehensive media solution, and Chief Sales Officer, focusing on innovative growth strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as National Head at Star India Pvt. Ltd., where Ashish contributed to the launch of Star Gold, and key roles at Buena Vista TV and Times Group, where Ashish managed regional sales and contributed to launching significant media channels. Ashish holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University, a Bachelor of Laws from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and has completed a strategy and growth program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
