Aleksandras Smirnovas

Aleksandras Smirnovas has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Aleksandras started their career as a Web Developer at Elektroninė prekyba in 2004. Aleksandras then worked as a Web Developer at UAB Ogmios & Optimus from 2002 to 2004, where they developed and maintained web-based solutions for various clients.

In 2004, Aleksandras joined TEO LT, AB as a Web Developer, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of one of the largest web portals in Lithuania. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a SharePoint Developer/Analyst at Informacines technologijos, where they designed and implemented SharePoint-based tools for resource management.

In 2008, Aleksandras worked as an Intern at CERN, developing front-end software for Data Quality Monitoring. Aleksandras used technologies such as JAVA, Oracle, YUI, and jQuery during their time there.

From 2005 to 2017, Aleksandras worked as a Freelance Mobile & Web Developer at coder.lt. Aleksandras was responsible for full web site projects, utilizing various technologies such as PHP/MySQL, Memcache, Redis, MongoDB, and Varnish, among others. Aleksandras also worked with CMS platforms like Zend Framework, Symfony, Laravel, and Magento.

In 2017, Aleksandras joined Zeel.com as a React Native Developer and later became the project's Tech Lead. Aleksandras contributed to the switch to TypeScript and integrated third-party dependencies, as well as worked on push notifications and automated testing and deployment.

In 2019, Aleksandras joined Anna, a Danish startup, as a React Native Developer. Aleksandras focused on improving the development experience and code quality, as well as solving performance issues for the catering market recruitment management app.

Aleksandras then re-joined Zeel in 2020 as the Lead React Native Developer, responsible for developing an application for medical massage therapists.
