Carlos Abreu

Carlos Abreu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carlos began their career as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico. Carlos then worked as a Trainee at Galp Energia before transitioning to a Volunteer role at IES - Social Entrepreneurship Institute. Carlos then joined A.T. Kearney as a Business Analyst and later as a Senior Business Analyst. Carlos co-founded Bahub and served as a Co-Founder for seven years. Carlos co-founded Drivit, a company focused on making mobility safer and more sustainable, and later worked as a Co-founder until its acquisition by Zego. Currently, they are the Head of Product at Zego. Carlos has held various roles at Zego, including Lead Product Manager and Tech Lead and Product Manager.

Carlos Abreu earned their MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2005 to 2011. In 2010, they also attended Delft University of Technology for a brief period, where they pursued an MSc in Mechanical Engineering as well.
