Colleen Kavanagh is the co-founder and CEO of ZEGO LLC, a pioneering food company focused on producing superfood-based packaged foods that are rigorously tested for over 400 chemicals. With extensive experience in nutrition advocacy, Colleen founded A Better Course, formerly known as Campaign for Better Nutrition, where efforts concentrate on improving nutrition for low-income children and addressing food justice issues. Colleen's background includes roles as a committee member on the San Francisco USD Food and Fitness Committee, Assistant Director at California Food Policy Advocates, Director of Government Affairs at the School Nutrition Association, and a legislative assistant for Congressman George Miller. Colleen Kavanagh holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Vanderbilt University, as well as a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.
