Ben Hegarty

Ben Hegarty has a diverse background in sales and product management within the life sciences and technology industry. Currently, Ben serves as the Regional Sales Manager and Product Specialist for Surgical Ophthalmology at ZEISS Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this role, Ben was a Product Specialist at Coherent Scientific, specializing in digital slide scanning technologies and automated tissue microarray systems. Before that, Ben was an Account Manager at Aquion Pty Ltd, managing products for Symantec and SMS Passcode, as well as handling large reseller accounts. In their various roles, Ben has been responsible for internal training, pre-sales, customer training, and ongoing support, as well as technical sales, installation, and support for microscopy-related vendors.
