Andreas Loos

Andreas Loos is a Senior Data Scientist at ZEIT ONLINE since 2016. Prior to that, Andreas worked as a Data Scientist at Freie Universität Berlin from 2011 to 2016, where Andreas led the project "Panorama der Mathematik". Before their work in academia, Andreas was a writer as a freelancer, author, and journalist from 1994 to 2016. Additionally, Andreas gained experience as a PR-Consultant at Iserundschmidt GmbH from 2001 to 2003, focusing on science PR, editing, and public relations. Andreas Loos holds a Erstes Staatsexamen in Mathematik/Physik from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, a Promotion in Mathematik / Kombinatorische Optimierung from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, and a Diplom in Journalismus/Kommunikationswissenschaft from University of Hohenheim.
