Shannon Hicks

Shannon Hicks has been working in the field of web and graphic design since 2009, when they began freelancing as a Graphic Designer. In 2012, they took on the role of Graphic Design Intern Virginia Living Magazine at Cape Fear Publishing. In 2014, they began working as a Graphic Designer at The Bowen Group. In 2018, they began working as a Web Developer for herself. Most recently, in 2019, they began working as a Junior Web Developer at Zekiah Technologies.

Shannon Hicks holds a Master of Science in Information Systems with a specialization in Web Development from Aspen University, obtained in 2017. Shannon also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology-Tampa, obtained in 2012. In addition, they hold four certifications: E-Commerce Specialist from CIW (2013), Web Design Specialist from CIW (2013), Professional Member from IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals (2020), and Security + from CompTIA (2019).
