Orion Vanderlinde

Orion Vanderlinde has extensive experience in the field of nuclear forensics and research, currently serving as a Prompt Diagnostic Subject Matter Expert at Zel Technologies since February 2011. In this role, Orion is responsible for managing the AFTAC National Technical Nuclear Forensics IDIQ and Materials Technology Support IDIQ contracts, as well as overseeing contracts related to PENTRAN reactor fuel cycle modeling. Prior to this, Orion worked at SAIC from January 2004 to February 2011 as a Senior Developer/Scientist, where responsibilities included developing RF analysis tools and collaborating with various research institutions. Orion also served as a Defense Scientist at SAIC, supporting AFTAC programs and managing projects for the Air Force and NASA. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biology from Florida State University and a BS in Biology from Oregon State University.
