Luz Smith Rodríguez

Luz Smith Rodríguez has over 20 years of work experience. In 2020, they began working at Zeleros Hyperloop as a Standardization and Regulation Manager. From 2017-2020, they were the Head of Industry and Equipment Unit at UNE - Asociación Española de Normalización, where they were responsible for the transport, machinery, equipments, installations, materials, chemistry, fuels and related industry issues. From 2000-2017, they held a variety of roles at AENOR, including Head of Industry and Equipment Unit, Head of Mechanical Engineering Unit, and Standardisation Technical Project Manager. From 1998-2000, they worked as a Consultant at Norsistemas Consultores. Her first role was at ANDECE in 1997, where they were a Technical Assistant.

Luz Smith Rodríguez attended the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1990 to 1997 and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus in Mecanica-Construccion.
