Kate Ferry

Kate Ferry has extensive experience in the field of human resources, spanning over two decades. Kate is currently working as the Director of People and Culture at Zelis, a position they started in March 2022. Prior to this, Kate served as a People Business Partner at Sage from November 2019 to March 2022. During their time at Sage, they collaborated with executive leaders to develop Global Centers of Excellence and worked closely with various business segments.

Before their role at Sage, Kate worked as a Senior Manager in HR for Global Corporate Functions at WestRock Company from March 2018 to November 2019. At athenahealth, they held the position of Senior Manager and HR Business Partner for the Client Organization. During their time there from December 2016 to March 2018, they worked extensively with senior leadership on organizational design, talent management, and customer engagement.

Prior to that, Kate held the role of Human Resources Manager for Customer Operations at LexisNexis Risk Solutions from January 2015 to December 2016. Kate collaborated with senior leadership to enhance operational efficiency and align organizational design with various HR functions.

Kate's earlier experiences include working at Amazon as an HR Manager in Global Staffing & HR Optimization, where they led the launch of a newly formed HR organization and developed training programs. Kate also worked as a Human Resources Manager and a Senior HR Business Partner, supporting various operations and HR initiatives.

Before joining Amazon, Kate worked at Merck as a Senior HR Business Partner, collaborating with divisional senior directors on culture initiatives and implementing performance management processes. Kate also served as a Senior HR Business Partner for the Vaccine Division and supported the launch of new vaccines.

Kate began their career at Siemens Healthineers as an HR Partner, where they played a key role in restructuring the sales process and implementing global leadership excellence standards. Overall, Kate's work experience reflects a strong background in HR strategy, organizational development, and talent management.

Kate Ferry holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Additionally, they have earned certifications in Professional Human Resources Management from Villanova University, Business of Human Resources from The University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler School, and Zenger Folkman Extraordinary Leader 360 Assessment from Zenger Folkman.
