Alfred Wong

Alfred Wong has held various roles in the technology industry since 2002. Alfred started as a Developer at Canon CISRA in 2002, then worked as a Research Fellow at APuHC @ UNSW from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they were a Contractor at Towers Perrin, and in 2010 they were a Contractor at Logica. From 2011 to 2013, they held the role of Technology Solution Advisory at T2 And Me Pty Ltd. During this time, they also worked at Mint Payments Limited, where they were the Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Head of Software Development from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Till Payments and the Chief Technology Officer at SimplePay Group. Since 2020, they have been the Head of Engineering - Backend at Zeller.

Alfred Wong completed their PhD in Computer Science at UNSW in 2008, following a Bachelor in Software Engineering at the same institution from 2000-2004. Prior to this, they attended Epping Boys High School.
