Gary Chwatuk

Gary Chwatuk has an extensive work history in the footwear industry. Gary began their career in 1980 as a Designer/Line Builder for Calabritto Fine Italian Footwear, Inc. In 2001, they moved to Ian Matthew Fine Italian Footwear, Inc. where they held the same role. In 2005, they joined Steve Madden, Ltd. as Product Development/Quality Control Manager. In 2011, they became a Footwear Prototype Designer/Consultant for SHOETECHNICO. From 2012 onwards, they have been an Adjunct Footwear Design Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and most recently, a Creative Director at Zellerfeld Inc.

Gary Chwatuk obtained their Certification in Pedorthics from Oklahoma State University and also studied at the University of Perugia, Italy. Gary also holds a Pedorthics certification.
