Pimthanya Wanichawan has a wealth of work experience. Starting in 2007, they were a Principal Research Engineer at Oslo University Hospital. In 2011, they became a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Science at the University of Oslo, where they explored protein interaction partners by using various molecular biological and biochemical techniques. In 2015, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oslo University Hospital, where they focused on the development of peptide-based drug and studies of protein-protein interactions. In 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Davis, where they performed Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) microscopy imaging, cell culture and viral transduction. From 2019 to 2022, they were an R&D Scientist at Diatec Monoclonals. Currently, they are a Scientist at Zelluna Immunotherapy.
Pimthanya Wanichawan has a diverse educational background. In 2011, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oslo (UiO). In 2005, they earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UiO. Additionally, in 1998, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Thammasat University. Pimthanya has also obtained several certifications, including FELASA C from the University of Oslo in 2016, Radiation protection and radiation safety from UiO in 2006, Good manufacturing practices (GMP) from Diatec Monoclonals in 2020, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) from Oslo University Hospital in 2019.
