Conrad Plimpton

Chair at ZelosDx

Conrad Plimpton is the Chair at ZelosDx and has an extensive background in business. Conrad got their start at Kuhn Loeb & Co as a consultant in 1967 and was quickly promoted to M&A / private equity in 1969. After just one year in that role, they moved to McKinsey & Company where they worked as a consultant for two years.

In 1981, they became the owner and Chairman of INOLEX, a family-owned supplier of specialty chemicals. Conrad ran the company for over three decades, until they retired in 2017. During their time as Chairman, Inolex Chemical Company supplied new ingredients for the cosmetics industry that made cosmetics better.

In 2019, Conrad became the Chair & lead Investor for Desert Angels. In this role, they are responsible for leading the organization and investing in early-stage companies.

Conrad Plimpton attended Harvard University for their Bachelor's degree in Elementary particle physics. Conrad then attended the University of Chicago for their Ms in Astrophysics and MBA in Finance & Marketing.
