Nicholas Beck

Nicholas Beck has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2006 when they were a Customer Service Representative at Domino's. In 2013, they began working as a Research Assistant at Concordia University, and in 2014 they became a Lecturer at the same university, teaching Fundamental Concepts of Algebra. In 2016, they became an Actuarial Research Intern at Desjardins General Insurance Group, and in 2021 they began working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at HEC Montréal, specializing in Spatial Extremes. Nicholas is currently a Data Scientist at Zelus Analytics.

Nicholas Beck attended Concordia University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science. Nicholas then continued their studies at Concordia University and obtained a Master's degree in Actuarial Science in 2015. Finally, they attended McGill University from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Statistics.
