David Kaplan has over 10 years of experience in the online media industry. David is currently the Vice President Client Development at Zemanta, a leading content recommendation platform. Prior to joining Zemanta, David was the Director of Advertising Sales at My Damn Channel where they successfully sold online and video advertising and branded content development. My Damn Channel was named one of Time Magazine's top 50 websites of 2011.

Before their time at My Damn Channel, David held various positions in sales and account management at Demand Media, HitFix, Craveonline Media, and CarDomain.com. At CarDomain.com, David was the East Coast Sales Manager and successfully increased sales by 50%.

David has a proven track record of success in online media and is passionate about helping brands reach their target audiences.

David Kaplan has a BA in Economics from Rutgers University.
