Juliette Kayyem

Juliette Kayyem is a highly experienced professional in the security field. Juliette began their career in 2007 as Undersecretary of Homeland Security for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 2009, they were appointed Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. From 2011 to 2013, Kayyem served as a columnist for the Boston Globe Media and a Belfer Lecturer in International Security at Harvard Kennedy School. In 2014, they founded Juliette Kayyem Solutions, LLC, one of the nation's few female-owned security companies. From 2017 to 2019, they served as CEO and Co-Founder of Zemcar and Gripmobility. Additionally, Kayyem has hosted two podcasts, "Security Mom" and "The SCIF" on WGBH since 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Juliette Kayyem received their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School in 1995. Juliette also attended Harvard University from 1991.
