Robel Tesfaye

Robel Tesfaye has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security. Robel started their career in 2015 as a Cyber Security Engineer at Ethiopia INSA, where they worked until 2018. During this time, they gained expertise in cyber infrastructure security auditing and evaluation as a Supervisor. In 2018, they joined the Information Network Security Agency and continued their work as a Supervisor in cyber infrastructure security auditing and evaluation until 2020. In 2021, Robel Tesfaye became a Senior Information Technology Auditor at Zemen Bank, where they currently hold the position. Additionally, in 2021, they took on the role of a Cyber Security Researcher.

Robel Tesfaye completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Bahir Dar University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in the field of network security. Robel is a Juniper Networks Certified Associate in Security (JNCIA-SEC) from Juniper Networks, which they obtained in December 2020. Robel also holds certifications from Cisco, including Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Core, Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Identity Management Implementation, Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security), Cisco Certified Specialist - Network Security Firepower, Cisco Certified Specialist - Network Security VPN Implementation, and Cisco Certified Specialist - Web Content Security. These certifications were obtained between 2019 and 2020. Furthermore, Robel is an NSE 1 and NSE 2 Network Security Associate from Fortinet, Inc., which they obtained in February 2020. Finally, they are currently pursuing the Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP-S) certification.
