Heather Aziz

Heather Aziz is the Director of HR Operations and Compliance at Zempleo. Heather has over eight years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, onboarding, and compliance.

Heather began their career as an HR Account Team Lead at The Evergent Group, where they were responsible for overseeing the operational accuracy of all processes and policies related to employee onboarding and relations. In this role, they managed a team of five direct reports and six indirect reports, and served as the primary escalation point of contact for HR-related issues. Heather also oversaw all internal and client audits, and assisted with corrective actions for failed audits.

In their current role as Director of HR Operations and Compliance at Zempleo, Heather is responsible for overseeing the human resources function for the organization. This includes managing the payroll process, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with all state and federal regulations. Heather is also responsible for leading the organization's efforts to ensure a positive employee experience through initiatives such as new hire onboarding, performance management, and employee development programs.
