Tim Throsby

Tim Throsby is currently the Managing Partner and Chairman at Phoenix Merchant Partners, a firm they founded in 2022, focusing on middle-market financial solutions. They also serve as a Non-Executive Director at Light & Wonder, XTX Markets, and Zen Educate, and previously held a board position at Silver Creek Pharmaceuticals. Throsby has extensive experience in finance, including roles as Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Lehman Brothers, as well as leadership positions at Citadel Investment Group and Barclays. They hold a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
