Gayashan Amarasinghe is a Data Engineer at ZEN Energy since May 2023, responsible for designing, developing, and managing the data platform. Previously, Gayashan served as a Software Engineer at RMIT University, leading the BIPV Enabler software development and designing the architecture. With an extensive academic background, Gayashan was a Senior Lecturer and Lecturer at the University of Moratuwa from June 2015 to January 2023 and has also held roles at the University of Melbourne while pursuing a PhD in Computer Science. Gayashan's experience includes work as a Research Fellow at RMIT University, developing commercial software for the construction industry, and implementing blockchain solutions as a Casual Research Officer. Earlier roles include Software Engineer at WSO2 and training positions at KISTERS AG and 99X Technology. Gayashan holds a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
