Paul Korathu

Paul Korathu has over 25 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Paul currently holds the roles of Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of New Product Planning and Commercial Strategy at Zenas BioPharma since November 2021.

Prior to their current position, Paul held various roles at EMD Serono, Inc. from 2015 to 2021, including Senior Director of New Product Planning, LATAM aRBL (Regional Marketing), and Global Marketing Director of New Product Planning.

From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Pfizer as the Director of WWCD (Global Marketing), Director of New Businesses, and Director of Commercial Planning.

Paul also has experience at Astellas Pharmaceuticals, where they served as an Assistant Director of New Product Analysis and later as a Senior Manager of New Product Analysis from 2006 to 2009.

Before that, they worked at Eisai from 2002 to 2006, starting as an Associate Manager of Business Development and advancing to Senior Manager of Business Development.

Paul began their career in the pharmaceutical industry at the University of Minnesota as an Associate in Life Sciences Technology Transfer from 1998 to 2000.

Paul also worked as a Research Scientist in Immunology at Case Western Reserve University from 1995 to 1997.

Paul Korathu has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Duquesne University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995. Paul also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance from Temple University School of Pharmacy. Furthermore, they have a Post-Master's Certificate in Advanced Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance from Temple University School of Pharmacy. Paul's most recent educational achievement is a Master of Business Administration degree from Yale School of Management. No start or end dates are provided for their additional degrees.
