Senior Customer Success Manager at Zencity

Gaby Bendersky is the current Senior Customer Success Manager at Zencity. Prior to this, they served as Town Manager in Garrett Park from December 2018 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the overall operations of the Town government, including developing and managing the budget, handling all HR functions, advising and assisting the Town Council on operations and governance, and carrying out policy. Gaby also led a team of four full-time staff and managed relationships with several contractors.

From October 2018 to May 2019, Gaby served as an adjunct/advisor at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, where they advised a group of DC-track Heinz students working on their graduate systems/capstone project with a national non-profit.

Gaby has also served on the advisory board for EPIC-Network and as the Deputy Director of Global Programs for ICMA from September 2012 to December 2018. In this role, they oversaw ICMA's global programmatic work, including strategic planning, capacity building, member engagement, and partnerships.

Prior to their work in global program management, Gaby served as the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Napa from August 2010 to September 2012. In this role, they developed and implemented sustainability programs and policies for the city government.

Gaby began their career as a Legislative Aide for the State of Nebraska from November 2009 to August 2010. In this role, they assisted state legislators with research, writing, and constituent communication.

Gaby Bendersky has a Master of Public Policy from the University of Denver in Public Affairs and Spanish. Gaby also has a B.A. from the University of Denver in Public Affairs and Spanish. Gaby is certified from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy in Managing AI in Transportation Certificate Program, the University of Maryland School of Public Policy in Academy for Excellence in Local Government, the American Institute of Certified Planners in AICP Certified, and the National Charrette Institute in NCI Charrette System Certificate Training.

Their manager is Traci Siegel, Customer Success Team Lead. They are on a team with Ariel Fisher - Senior Customer Success Manager, Allison Paisner - Training & Enablement Manager, and Natalie Abraham - Customer Success Manager.
