Bálint Kubik

Bálint Kubik has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Bálint started their career as an intern at Hétfa Research Institute in 2014 before moving on to work as a research assistant at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where they focused on the development of web services and analytic applications. In 2015, Bálint joined Starschema Ltd as a software developer, responsible for developing and maintaining Big Data systems with a focus on predictive analytics. Bálint used platforms such as Apache Hadoop, Mesos, Kafka, and Spark to integrate different frameworks.

Bálint then worked as a senior data engineer at EyeEm and 12traits in 2020, where they contributed to the development and management of data engineering projects. In 2017, they joined cleverbridge as a data engineer and later transitioned into the role of a data architecture consultant. In their time at cleverbridge, Bálint worked on projects related to building a data warehouse, ETL pipeline development, and database schema management. Bálint also gained experience in full-stack development as part of an Agile team working on an e-commerce project.

Prior to their current role, Bálint worked as a data architect at Aliz Technologies, focusing on data architecture and management.

Currently, Bálint Kubik holds the position of Principal Architect, Data at Zencore. As a part of this role, they are responsible for managing and leading Google Cloud Platform managed services and migration projects. Bálint has extensive experience with Google Cloud infrastructure and data products and has worked as a trusted advisor on large and complex Google Cloud transformations and migrations.

In December 2010, Bálint Kubik obtained a University of Cambridge CAE certification from the British Council Hungary. In May 2008, Bálint Kubik obtained a telc Deutsch B2 certification from Tudományos Ismeretterjesztő Társulat. Most recently, in October 2021, Bálint Kubik obtained a Professional Data Engineer certification from Google Cloud. Bálint Kubik also holds an edX Honor Code Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning from edX, although no specific details about the exact date of obtainment are provided.
