Steve Marek

Steve Marek currently serves as Regional Vice President at Zendesk, overseeing a team of 9 Major Account Executives responsible for managing over 250 existing customers and developing new business opportunities in the Upper Midwest Region and Canada. Prior to this role, Steve spent over a decade at Akamai Technologies where responsibilities included managing field sales teams and partnerships with Cloud Service Providers. Steve's career began in sales with various roles at companies such as Keynote Systems, Tidal Software, Segue Software, and Platinum Technology, culminating in extensive experience across diverse sales environments. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University.
