Ittay Eyal

Ittay Eyal is a Bitcoin Developer & Cryptography Engineer, who has contributed to Bitcoin Core and libsecp256k1. Ittay has also researched and implemented complex new consensus algorithms like PHANTOM GhostDAG.

Ittay Eyal was previously a Protocol Engineer at Enigma MPC, where they developed a decentralized protocol that uses Intel SGX to as a Trusted Execution Environment to execute WebAssembly smart contracts in private, committing the result to Ethereum (acting as sort of a sidechain).

Prior to working at Enigma MPC, Ittay Eyal served as a Cyber Crime Investigator in the Cyber Crime Division of the IDF. Their job included investigating criminal security attacks, analyzing malicious code, researching network logs and using forensic science to gather data and make criminal cases.

Ittay Eyal has also worked as a Bitcoin Researcher & Consultant at GAP600 and as a Blockchain Developer at Zennet Supercomputer.
