Koen Claerbout

Koen Claerbout has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Koen currently serves as the CEO and President of Zenitel, where they focus on ensuring people's safety through public address, intercom, and integrated solutions. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Managing Director of Audioprof Group International, a company specializing in fixed install sound solutions. Koen also worked at Wigersma & Sikkema B.V., where they served as a Member of the Board and contributed to the development, manufacturing, and marketing of gas-related instruments and systems. Furthermore, they worked as the General Manager at JORI, a company that specializes in high-class contemporary furniture solutions. Earlier in their career, they held executive positions at Altachem N.V., Bekaert, Distrigas NV, and BASF, where they gained experience in areas such as business leadership, marketing, sales, production management, and research and development.

Koen Claerbout received their primary education at "lagere school" and then attended St-Amandusinstituut from 1984 to 1990, where they pursued a degree in Wet. A. Koen later joined Ghent University from 1990 to 1995, earning a Master of Science in Engineering / Burgerlijk Ingenieur (Civil Engineer). Finally, they enrolled in Vlerick Business School from 1999 to 2001 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
