Eldar Sehayek

Eldar Sehayek began their career as a Software Developer in the Israel Defense Forces in 2010. During this time, they were responsible for performing programming missions assigned to him by their team leader, and eventually took on the responsibility of designing and implementing the solutions for their assigned missions. In 2015, they joined Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Microsoft, they acted as a tech lead and IC, onboarded and educated new team members, influenced the team to break their monolith to micro-services, and designed and implemented a micro-service for processing security logs. In 2021, Eldar joined Zenity as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they have influenced the CTO, VP R&D and the entire R&D team to move to MongoDB, designed the first service to use MongoDB, and collaborated with other team members and stakeholders to migrate other services to MongoDB. Eldar is also working with AWS and Docker and CI/CD to design and implement distributed architecture for services.

Eldar Sehayek received their B.S.c in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they were a Graduate of Programming Course from The Computer Professions Academy, IDF (Mamram) from 2009 to 2010.
