Fabiana Sarkis

Fabiana Sarkis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Fabiana began their professional journey as a Co-founder and Editor In Chief of The Lion Magazine at St. Paul's School in Sao Paulo. Fabiana then interned as a Graphic Design Intern at Abril, where they designed magazine spreads, assisted photographers, and aided the Arts editor.

Fabiana continued their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Brown University, participating in photography shoots and designing magazine pages. Fabiana also worked as an Orientation Welcoming Committee Leader during their time at the university.

Fabiana gained experience in communications and social media as the Communications Chair for the Brown University Undergraduate Council of Students. In this role, they created and managed social media content, standardized the council's visual identity, and directed the Communications Committee.

Fabiana further expanded their skills as a Design and Multimedia Intern at the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship. Fabiana developed content and social media plans, managed schedules and events, and served as a point of contact for staff and ventures. Additionally, they were the Senior B-Lab Intern, responsible for managing a junior intern and overseeing social media campaigns.

Fabiana entered the field of marketing and media as a Media Buying and Planning Resident at VaynerMedia, where they bid and placed campaigns on digital platforms and optimized live media. Fabiana tracked campaign performance, made necessary changes, and managed budgets across various platforms.

Most recently, Fabiana worked as a Marketing and Operations Manager at Selby/Artists Mgmt, where they developed content, created social media plans, coordinated special projects, and managed company tours.

Fabiana will start their next professional adventure as a Research and Insights Intern at Zeno Group in 2023.

Fabiana Sarkis completed their high school education at St. Paul's School in Sao Paulo, earning a High School Diploma from 2003 to 2018. In 2015, they attended Oriel College, Oxford, where they participated in a summer course focusing on Journalism and Studio Art, with a field of study in Communication and Media Studies.

Moving forward, Fabiana Sarkis pursued their undergraduate studies at Brown University from 2018 to 2022. Fabiana obtained a B.A. in Modern Culture & Media and an S.c.B. in Social Analysis & Research.

In addition to their formal education, Fabiana Sarkis also completed some additional certifications. In 2018, they obtained a Bilingual Diploma from the International Baccalaureate. Later, in 2020, they acquired a certification in Writing for Social Media from the UC Berkeley Extension Program through edX.
