Catalin Frent

Catalin Frent has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology. Catalin started their career as a Software Developer at Tipoimpex, where they developed websites and worked on contract-based projects. Catalin then moved on to Consi S.A. as a Software Developer, where they continued to develop websites.

Frent then transitioned to the role of Network Administrator at RCS&RDS, where they configured and monitored network equipment for a large-scale MAN. Catalin also assisted field engineers and administered PPPoE and DHCP servers.

Afterwards, Frent worked as a Software Developer at NECC Telecom, building HTML and Crystal Report templates using ASP.NET and MS SQL Server resources. Catalin then joined PCCTI IT AND HEALTHCARE as an IT Technician Specialist, where they installed and troubleshooted Uverse/IPDSL services and developed the company's website.

Frent then gained experience at AT&T as a PremTech, installing, wiring, and troubleshooting internet, phone, and TV services. Catalin used U-Verse technology and cooper wires for these tasks.

Following this, Frent worked at AudioNow as a Technical Support Engineer, providing technical support to Call-to-Listen and mobile app customers. Catalin also utilized scripting languages such as Bash, JSON, LUA, and PHP for various tasks and monitored network and call traffic with Grafana and Telegraf.

Currently, Frent is working at Zeno Media as a System Administrator. In this role, they architect and manages the company's computing assets, including hardware, networking, and AWS cloud resources. Catalin oversees and coordinates software services, trains personnel on company procedures and policies, and ensures security protocols are followed.

Catalin Frent pursued their education at the University of Craiova. From 1996 to 1999, they obtained an Associate of Science - AS degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 2000 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Hardware Engineering at the same university.
