Donna Burns

Donna Burns has a long history of work experience, beginning with their role as an Associate Product Engineer at HBD/Thermoid, Inc. in 1994. Donna then moved to American Zinc Recycling Corp. (formerly known as Horsehead Corporation) in 1997, where they held the roles of Business System Analyst and Assistant Manager - Quality. In 2002, they took on an Adjunct Faculty role at Community College of Allegheny County. After that, they worked as a Quality Manager, Melt Shop Metallurgist, and GFM Engineer at Metalwerks PMD, Inc. from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they became Quality Assurance Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company, and then QA Manager at PPG Industrial Coatings from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they are the Senior Quality Assurance Manager at Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc., and is set to become the Director of Quality at Zeno Power in 2022.

Donna Burns obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University between 1990 and 1993. Donna then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Robert Morris University between 1997 and 2000. In 2018, they obtained IATF 16949:2016 Lead Auditor Certification and in 2010, they obtained an ASME NQA-1 Lead Auditor certification.
