Harsh S. Desai

Harsh S. Desai has a long and varied work experience. Harsh S. is currently the Chief Commercialization Officer at Zeno Power, a role they have held since 2021. In 2020, they became a Board Member at the American Nuclear Society. In 2022, they became a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council's Global Energy Center. Harsh S. is also a Member of the Nuclear Engineering Department Advisory Committee (NEDAC) at North Carolina State University. In 2017, they became the Senior Manager of Policy and Strategy Development at the Nuclear Energy Institute, as well as the President, Founder, and Owner of Energetic Solutions, LLC. In 2016, they were an Innovation Advisor and Project Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). From 2011 to 2015, they were a Senior Nuclear Engineer at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (BMPC). Finally, in 2014, they were a Legislative Fellow to a U.S. Senator at the United States Senate.

Harsh S. Desai received their Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University between 2004 and 2008. Harsh S. then went on to obtain their Masters in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University between 2008 and 2010. In 2009, they obtained their Six-Sigma Green Belt certification. In 2008, they obtained their FE/EIT Certification from the State of North Carolina. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, they attended the NYU Stern School of Business, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration with a focus in Strategy, Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and Finance.
