Tom Wainwright

Tom Wainwright is a skilled CFD Engineer at Zenotech Ltd since May 2021, where responsibilities include developing optimisation frameworks in zCFD and testing aeroacoustic capabilities. Tom has contributed to significant projects such as the Automotive Drag Prediction Workshops and the LandOne project. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Bristol as a Graduate Teacher in various engineering modules, a Widening Participation Tutor, an Outreach Activity Coordinator, and a Research Intern focused on a Meshless Finite Difference solver. Earlier, Tom served as Club Captain, Coach, and Media Secretary for TUBES RFC and worked as a Student Helper at Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust. Tom holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol, alongside a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with Study Abroad from the same institution and a high school diploma from Northampton School for Boys.
