Timothy Young

Timothy Young has extensive work experience in various roles. Timothy currently works as a QA Manager at Zense Life since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Obalon Therapeutics as a Senior Quality Engineer from January 2014 to June 2020. Before joining Obalon Therapeutics, Timothy worked at SDSU Research Foundation as a Research Assistant II from August 2009 to January 2014. Timothy also had experience working at Mariposa Biotechnology Inc as a Project Engineer from January 2008 to February 2009.

Timothy Young obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Timothy went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at San Diego State University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Timothy has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) from ASQ - World Headquarters in June 2017, the Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) in December 2016, the Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) in June 2016, and the Certified Six Sigma Green Belt in December 2015. Timothy also holds the Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists, which they obtained in October 2013. Timothy further enhanced their skill set with a Certificate of Performance in Machine Technology C.N.C Technology from San Diego City College in March 2013.
