Ivo Batkovic

Ivo Batkovic is a Software Engineer at Zenseact since June 2016, focusing on motion and path planning for autonomous driving. Previously, Ivo held the position of Industrial PhD Student, conducting research and earning a doctoral degree in Automatic Control with a focus on Safe Model Predictive Control for Autonomous Driving from Chalmers University of Technology, where Ivo also completed a Master's and Bachelor's in Engineering Physics. Ivo gained experience as a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, and contributed to autonomous truck development as a team member in the Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge while working on a Master’s thesis at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. Additionally, Ivo worked as a machine operator at ABB during summer jobs between 2011 and 2015.
