Matt Brown is an experienced professional with a diverse range of roles and expertise. As the Founder and Brand Strategist of METTLE 5 since January 2017, Matt has worked with both startups and established businesses. Currently, Matt serves as the Board Chair for The Circle of Giving and Co-Owner of FIVE POINTS POST OFFICE, while also holding the position of Alderman and Vice Mayor for the City of Franklin, Tennessee. In addition, Matt is a Senior Subject Matter Expert at Zensights LLC, focusing on vendor evaluations for BioPharma organizations, and has been the Chief Marketing Officer at Shepherd since January 2018. Matt's commitment to community engagement is reflected in board memberships with organizations such as the Battle of Franklin Trust, Sister Cities of Franklin & Williamson County TN, Unite Williamson, and the African American Heritage Society. Educationally, Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University and has served in the Ohio Army National Guard.
